A postal franking ceremony for a new first day cover envelope celebrating the 30th anniversary of PAO Sovcomflot (SCF Group) was held in the Group’s offices in Moscow, on the eve of the Day of Sea and River Fleet Workers, which this year was celebrated on 1 July 2018.

The event was attended by Oleg Dukhovnitsky, Head of the Federal Communications Agency (Rossvyaz) and Sergey Frank, President and CEO of PAO Sovcomflot.

The Federal Communications Agency, together with JSC Marka, produces various philatelic products annually dedicated to large and strategically important Russian enterprises. The franked envelope featured Sovcomflot’s Arctic LNG tanker Christophe de Margerie and Sovcomflot’s logo. One hundred thousand copies of the commemorative envelope have been issued.

“I am confident that these unique envelopes will forever keep the memories of today’s event in our minds, and that these special envelopes will become prized by collectors across the world,” said Oleg Dukhovnitsky.
